ARTIST IN RESIDENCE PROGRAM: coming February 2020

Taller de Terreno’s Artist in Residence Program is a four-week residency position awarded on a (selected) monthly basis to a visual, performing or literary artist of serious intent + practice. Residencies are not currently sponsored in full, but are partially subsidized by TDT + include work-trade opportunities.

INCLUDES:                                                                          

~ four week’s stay in TDT’s Guest Artist Casita + workspace w/kitchenette, outdoor baño + hot tub                      

~ access to TDT’s private grounds including ceramics, wood + metal shops, + lap pool     

~ use of multi-fuel high-fire ceramic kiln, price of fuel dependent on firing

IN EXCHANGE FOR:

~$900 USD

~20 hours/month work-trade hours on TDT grounds

~Artist present one public artist’s talk, image lecture and/or demonstration at TDT during the month of residency

~one piece of the Artist’s choice to be included in TDT’s Resident Artist Collection              

 OTHER IMPORTANT DETAILS:  

~clay + glaze materials available for purchase on-site 

~meals not included

~car required
