ARTIST IN RESIDENCE PROGRAM
Now accepting applications for 2021-22
Taller de Terreno’s Artist in Residence Program is a four to six-week residency awarded twice a year to a visual, performing or literary artist of serious intent + practice. Residencies are not currently sponsored in full, but are partially subsidized by TDT and include work-trade + community involvement opportunities. Deadlines for application are May 1 and Nov 1 of each year.

Residency opportunities include:
Resident Artist Exhibition
one public Artist’s talk, class or demonstration at TDT
one piece of the Artist’s choice to be included in TDT’s Resident Artist Collection
Cost:
4 weeks stay = $2500 USD
6 weeks stay = $3500 USD
5 hours per week of work/trade required
In exchange for:
private stay at TDT’s Guest Artist Casita + workspace w/kitchenette, plumbed outdoor shower + baño
private hot tub
access to TDT’s private ceramics, wood + metal shops
use of lap pool during designated hours
Other important details:
price includes use of multi-fuel high-fire ceramic kiln + shop glazes for one firing
meals not included
car necessary
